I couldn't believe my luck that the next book came out so quickly after I was done reading the first Lightness book. I absolutely LOVED the 2nd. I fell for lorcan a long time ago and I love Kennedy, I love her nerdiness, on occasion dirty mouth and her deep loyalty and light. I never give to much away about the story, just how it made me feel, and boy did I feel hot n bothered. I also loved all the action, the display of emotions, all the different characters, and great fight scenes. I can't think of any reason why a fan of this series would not love this one. I was disappointed that this is the last one in the series because I loved it so much and thought maybe Ken was gonna be around Lars more, keeping tabs and having more adventures, but I can see I will not be disappointed . I've been wanting to get understand Lars head for awhile and now it seems like we are getting that chance. Can't wait , thanks for the wonderful ride StaceyProduct details

I could not put this book down!! With this chapter in the Lightness series Brown doesn't just send your emotions on a roller coaster; she rips them out, puts then in a blender, and feeds them back to you!! If I could only use three words to draw you into the book it would be.... Lorcan Freaking Dragen!!!! This book should come with a warning highly addictive and habit forming. Elegant story telling and edge of your seat, breath stealing excitement from start to finish. Stacey's books are Lays potato chips you can't read just one.
Lightness Falling is the second book in Stacey Marie Brown’s Lightness Saga. I must say, I waited for this book since the first one came out, and I definitely was not disappointed.
Kennedy’s story continues as she faces struggles as the new queen of the Seelie Court. The sexy dark dweller we’ve grown to know and love, Lorcan, assists the Queen (and ex lover) to go undercover to stop her kingdom from total anarchy.
Once I started, I couldn’t put the book down. Simply amazing, very well written, and you get to know the characters on such a personal level, it’s almost as if you know them in real life. Stacey is exceptional at making you fall in love with her characters and world.
Sexy, witty, and a total page-turner, I highly recommend Lightness Falling.

watching the constant struggle between Kennedy and Lorcan is just a crazy roller coaster. You can tell they clearly meant to be but must fight their own personal fears before they can finally decide to put their happiness first - Lorcan definitely grows on me more this book.This book had me on the edge of my seat watching Kennedy grow even more than the last one. you see her struggling with her new title and how many don't think that she belongs on the Throne or that she is becoming a pawn of the King..... to her dealing with her feelings about Lorcan..... and trying to expand her powers....ALL while trying to keep a crumbling kingdom together. New Allies are made in this book that i am very excited to see pursued in the future books. The book kept you guessing trying to figure out who is hiding what and who is really on their side.
Ohhh, man. Kennedy and Lorcan..... <3 <3 <3 I won't get enough of you! This kept me warm on a cold rainy night while we were camping. ;) I loved the tension, the confusion, the drama... and the hot connection between Kennedy and Lorcan. I loved seeing Lorcan's heart, through all the careful walls and barriers, and Kennedy's determination to learn while still holding those she cares about close to her, regardless what is "expected" of her. She's real, he's real... and bam, they are real. I really loved this book. Probably my favorite out of SMB's books!
Oh, and I should add... I don't usually *read*, I *listen* to books. I love SMB's work so much I actually downloaded and read both The Cornw of Light and Lightness Falling since they were not yet available on audio and I was desperate for more of her world. ) I am crossing my fingers they'll be made into audio soon.
Wow! My vocabulary is short while I think of how to explain how fantastic this book is. It took me on an amazing ride that I can't wait to reread already just to experience again. Lorcan is 100% hand down the hottest most complex book boyfriend you'll find. I loved how the angst that both characters went through while trying to find their way back to each other. And just when I was thinking okay if they don't jump each others bones this time b/c it's gone on too long - they jump each others bones. Stacey's way with words and weaving her stories are an author and readers dream. I feel asleep last night and dreamed of these characters - that's how I know this book was amazing - weaving their way into my subconscious.
Brown can never go wrong with writing characters readers love. Once again, she pulls me in with a story within a story that leaves me on the edge of my seat.
I wish this review could be longer and more detailed, but if you know how I feel about Brown's writing, then you know I don't have to say much.
We return to Kennedy's life now that she's the Queen. And it isn't all it's cracked up to be as she still faces her demons, battles the visions and must work to find the betrayer...and of course do a little work for the Unseelie King. As luck would have it, a person from her past returns and her life is put into a whirlwind. Thankfully for me, I like windy situations.
Lorcan, my new favorite bad boy has a chip on his shoulders and only ONE person can break it away....
As always, there is angst and a whole lot of missed moments that you wish would happen, but are grateful for the slow grind. This book is full of action, suspense, love, hate, confusion sealed with a WTF moment at the end. Oh and did I mention Lorcan is back?
Yeah, let me know what you think of the last scene in the book <wink>.
